Default Bleacher Report Bold Prediction: Johnny Hockey Calder

Sorry if its a FATA

http://m.bleacherreport.com/articles...-season/page/6

Some fun link bait predictions for all the teams.

It also says Tyler Myers will be a Norris trophy finalist. Flames should have traded Sven for him when they had the chance! Jk.

"Calgary Flames: Johnny Gaudreau Will Win the Calder Trophy"

Amateur publication. They spelled Conn Smythe wrong.

I like that they predict Radim Vrbata will score 40 goals because of the Sedins.
The Sedins scored 47, and 50 points each last season.

The THN Yearbook comes out with a story predicting Calder winners, then a few days later, Bleacher Report comes out with a similar story. Sounds about right.

At first I thought these were their serious predictions. I enjoyed the read, it was fun.

Some pretty big mistakes in there though. Who doesn't know that Medicine Hat is in the WHL?

Yakupov will be a point per game player? In the KHL?

I've watched Bleacher Report butcher enough articles & "scoops" across several different sports that I have now blocked myself from visiting their website. I don't know how a shoddy operation like that can continue functioning when there of hundreds of more reputable sources out there...

But I hope they're right this time!!

The Sedins have not been over a PPG in 4 years

Vrbata's career high in goals is 35 (4 years ago) and his next best is 27

No Sedin-line winger has ever scored 40 goals

The Sedin line will get even more attention defensively from other teams this year, now that Kesler is gone.

The combined age of the Sedin-Sedin-Vrbata line is 101!

I'll take the under for $1,000 please.

The Bleacher Report is just an amateur blogger sports site. Nothing to see here.

The title is also bold predictions for each NHL team. If they thought they had a good chance of happening they wouldn't be bold choices.

I think he could definitely win the Calder if given top six minutes and power play time but the flames' coaching staff seem to prefer to shelter rookies usually... Which I think is a good thing for the most part. Drouin might be playing on stamkos' wing so he would be in a better position to put up big numbers.

lol... Bleacher Report.

I could go write an article about how Sam Bennett is going to be a bust and some of you would believe it.
