1. Guardians of the Galaxy
2. Captain America: The Winter Solider
3. X-Men Days of Future Past
4. Amazing Spider-Man 2
I think DoFP was a fantastic movie, but that your ranking is dead-on. It goes to show just how hard Marvel is absolutely killing it with this genre right now.
I thought it was good, didn't love it as much as everyone else. Thought the first half was a bit of a mess and the second half saved it. A lot of CG too -- felt like watching a cartoon at times.
I would rank X-Men and Cap 2 ahead of it, in that order.

Just got back from the theatre pretty impressed. The characters were dynamic and the pace, timing and humor was perfect . I only would have liked to have been a little more afraid of Ronin, but that's a mild complaint.
I would never have guessed that was Bradley Cooper's voice had I not known he was in this. There was one single line where I could recognize him but only because I was constantly listening for him. That scene where he was drunk and lamenting his being was very well done.
And, man, I wish I could afford the trainer that Chris Pratt must have had. I thought he was perpetually schlubby guy who had a sidekick career carved out for him.

This bugged me too, I really like BC, but like you I only caught his voice in that one scene. Not sure why they did that. Why bother paying a guy if you're going to alter his voice. Even Groot didn't resemble Vin D, I shudder to think what he got paid for that.

He altered his own voice.
Often actors put on voices.

Just got back from the theater, awesome movie all around. My only real question is in the Marvel universe do they ever explain why so many alien species look exactly like humans? Seemed kind of arbitrary how they would dress up some actors in full makeup and leave others alone

I really enjoyed it but the use of CGI throughout the entire thing really took it down a notch for me. Way too cartoony in many parts, what happened to sets?
Chris Pratt was great though, he has that goofy quality to him and his comedic timing is top drawer. Starting to show he has leading man qualities as well.
Lee Pace as Ronan was fantastic and Baustisa was Drax surprised me. Thought he would just be the silent meathead, didn't know the character at all but he had some very funny moments.
Marvel is red hot, they managed to turn a totally unknown property into a hit, with a relatively unknown cast.
I have prescription glasses and have difficulty with low light so I really dislike 3D to begin with, but they did a pretty good job with this one in that it doesn't get distracting like some movies with 3D added on later and there are a couple of places 3D is used to good effect coming out of the screen without being over the top about it.
So yeah pretty good for a 3D movie.
