I just want Be A GM mode to have some substance. It's so bland right now. Let me hire some staff that directly effects the performance of my team. Let me hire a full scouting staff so that I don't have to worry about where to send my scout every few weeks while simming.
Also, I want to be able to customize the uniforms for a pre-existing team. Maybe I'm the only one who cares about this, but I would love to be able to do that. It would be perfect if you could do this in the middle of a Be A GM career. It gets old wearing the same jerseys if you manage the same team for a real long time.
I would agree with everything above, and add something like hiring a coach (which is bizarre in it's absence).
Live the Life could be improved with:
- the ability to skip interviews (they are definitely cool, but get insanely repetitive after a while. I don't know how many times my significant other has to ask for tickets to the game for her and her friends before she realises I'll just pay for them, GOD)
- a proper free agency period (mirroring FIFA where you can get offers and decline them, instead of being forced to choose one of the teams first given to you, or being able to prioritise money, term, or division/location)
- fleshing out in general (it took a good step towards being an "experience" but certainly has a few steps to go)
Some requests obviously a bit silly/needless, but the brutal free agency period is especially grating.

The free agency thing in Live the Life is truly terrible. You can't even become a RFA, straight to UFA even if you're only 21 when your ELC is up. And the contract offers are insulting. A 2 year, $9M contract even though I put up over 500 points in my first 3 seasons? Get outta here.

500 points in 3 seasons, doesnt seem like the game presents much of a challenge for you.
I would get bored winning every game while getting 2-3 points per.
I defiantly agree that the AI in both GM and be a pro modes needs major improvements because like you mentioned the contracts and the sending up/down makes little to no sense on actual production.
EASHL and HUT both make EA a tonne of money in DLC purchases. Would make little to no sense for them to remove that revenue stream.
^This. I don't buy boosts, but know A LOT of people that do so I don't know why they would get rid of all those micro transactions.
Pre orders as well give you so many HUT packs, plus I know people who buy a lot of those too. So again, why get rid of those micro transactions.
To me this just seems like people aren't hearing a lot about the game, it's a month to release, and people need to find answers as to why there is no news, so they post a rumor from a "reliable source" and everything then becomes fact.... Got to love the internet.
Until I hear it from EA themselves it's nothing more then a baseless rumor.

Slight exaggeration. I think at the end of my third season I was around 430 points in like 230 games. With playoffs it was probably close to 500 points though.
The crazy part is, my video game "dominance" is a lower PPG than Wayne Greztky's real word totals.

I would love that too but EA knows they'll sell tons of copies regardless so why put in the effort? Judging from what I see so far of 15 and have seen since 2k bowed out it'll be 1 step forward, 2 steps back. Again.
I miss the 2k series, sure it wasn't perfect but for a time (2004-2007) it was better than anything EA has ever made IMO.
Not directed at you, but more everyone who is taking an internet rumor to be fact... I just ask, why?
Anyways, here is a new video from Gamescon. And given that at the end they are advertising HUT packs for preorders pretty much means the rumor of no HUT or EASHL was just an Eklundesque way of generating hits.
Trailer looks dope though, crowd looks great.
