Speaking of Hayes, wonder what the odds are of us getting him.
I'm not worried at all about Baertshi. If anything, he was too highly touted by most fans because of our lack of prospect depth. Now that we actually have some depth, a lot want him gone.

My prediction: Sven will probably spend most of next season in AHL. May get a call up after the deadline. 2015-16 he'll be a full-time Flame.

I'm a little shocked by the posters who aren't worried about Sven. He's given us a lot to worry about imo. He has some serious confidence issues and overcoming those doesn't always come with age.

Hey guys, first post. I think Baertschi will have a good year and silence many critics. I think last season was a good serving of humble pie for him, when he obviously had a sense of entitlement (partly due to our old managements fault). Burke came in and took over and gave him exactly what he needed. Sven has elite skills and hockey sense which don't just disappear, he will be fine. My biggest concerns with him are his overall strength and durability, as well as confidence issues.
