To me, the whole situation is tragic and full of human suffering. Bombing will, at least in the short term, cause more human suffering.

Please these "people" you speak of are slaughtering human beings by the thousands in the most inhuman way...bombs are actually too good for these idiots.

It just perpetuates a cycle of violence, solving essentially nothing. ISIS might go away, but a new group will just take their place, so what difference have you made?
I'll never understand the passionate revenge fantasies some people have. Wishing death on others as a means of stopping the travesties they are committing is understandable, but fantasising about it and taking joy from it is strange.

And what of the other people living in the target neighbourhoods? Do you have some sympathy for them? Does that sympathy not temper your giddiness?

Hopefully there's not too much collateral damage with stomping ISIS.
Let me ask the question? how would you deal with them?

It might stop a genocide, even just for the time being.

Why on earth do you think I feel joy for people dying? The joy I feel is when the innocent can live in peace. Like I said..kill off the stupid "GODS" and most of this crap goes away.

I'm not sure. There is no easy answer. Frankly, I thought that the Americans withdrew far too early from Iraq (like ISAF from Afghanistan). In any event, I'm not opposed to military intervention. But it doesn't make me giddy. It makes me sad.

I disagree about another group taking ISIS's place. There hasn't been a group as barbaric and crazy as ISIS in quite some time. Even AlQaida kicked them out for being too extreme. There are terrorist groups and then there is ISIS.
I hope they get wiped out pretty quick here. Their plan includes a lot of countries and even when they are stopped a lot of innocent people are going to die stopping them.
And I don't think taking joy about a terrorist dying is strange unless you have no empathy for innocent lives being slaughtered. I'm sure if someone killed your family member, you would fantasize about ways to kill him too.
This is no different than watching videos of these guys taking an AK-47 to a ditch full of people. If you don't want that guy doing the shooting to die a horrible death then I find that strange.

A lot of these guys are Russian and hate everything about Russia. You won't be sad when these guys are stopped from doing attacks in Moscow.

To see what these guys are up to watch the last 5 minutes or so of this vid. The worst is blurred out but their disregard for human life deserves a spot in hell.

SAS has been deployed to Iraq to help rescue civilians and help hunt down these crazies before more people are executed at ISIS hands

Lets be frank, we will kill thousands of innocent random Sunnis as we bomb ISIS, and that doesn't factor what the Peshmerga and Shia will do to surviving Sunni after ISIS is wiped out in the name of revenge and holy jihad.
I doubt this ends before another 50 to 100,000 poor saps go to whichever God they believe in, most in indescribably gruesome ways.
Good damn I hate Bush, if one good thing comes out of this I hope someone blows that dimwitted bell end to hell.

If they are dropping jdams then they've got special forces on the ground lighting the targets, they were there before this mess kicked off advising the peshmerga.

No it doesnt. Then people just fight over skin color, language difference, resources or anything else that is different between 2 groups of people. You give humans far too much credit.

Worst part about that vid is the victims got off easy compared to getting your head cut off with a hunting knife, hopefully everyone of these barbaric murderers have a short life from here on end.
