I like this one - especially the top logo. That's probably the best the "CP" has looked on any design.
If the forum adopted a black and white colour scheme this would look great.

Something like this, maybe (note: this was just a really quick re-color, so the lines etc. inside aren't the cleanest)
It only really works on the left-most one because the letters are distinct and large enough to allow for it.
Just a thought :-)

This speech bubble one is seen as an upgrade to some? Needs some major dressing up if it's to be considered, IMO. Interesting in concept, but as is looks more internet old school than the current logo.
I still think we should go in a more creative direction. I mean, sure it's clever, but it's pretty blunt about it. If someone can make this look more 21st century and less obvious then have at er.

Disagree, looks modern to me.
Chat bubbles aren't really anything BUT 21st Century, Sooo...
The only thing I'd change is maybe a more rounded lettering to the one you quoted.

I think it's great, not even sure what you mean by "21st century".

I also don't want to bring in Lanny, Kipper, Iggy or Fleury as it just loops us back to the past. If we had gone with the player as the logo, the next idea I was going to propose was 'honour weeks' or something to that effect.
So far, with balance, appearance and symbolism the Monahan has really only been the only thing I could find to represent the current regime. It's my personal favourite of all of them, but I am definitely open to any other image someone can put forward that speaks to the 2014 Flames.

How about the McGrattan salute?

So far I like these two, first one nice, simple and clean and the second one very stylish.
Edit, for the second one maybe take out the black square background and put calgarypuck.com along the bottom of the puck in yellow.

I like the font of the CP too and the curve in Calarypuck, but the triangle and sticks reminds me of the Canucks.

Thanks for your suggestions, I've tried to make it more intricate and dynamic but still struggling with a colorful version of it.
