I think I'd rather have Robyn on this team that Engelland.

Not last year though. Last year Robyn was exactly where he should have been.
Congrats Robyn. Well deserved.

He was on the FAN a few weeks ago. He still has his house here in Calgary and plans to come back once he is retired.
Really happy for Robyn. I still can't believe he played a 1000 games after his accident.

These stories are the best, you watch what they go through to win it, you see them injured and exhausted but victorious and then you get to see the celebration afterwards.
Thats awesome.

I have such a soft spot for Regehr after taking pictures with him one day at the dome. He picked my friend up by the scruff of the neck and played it off like he was beating him up.
Such a nice guy.

I always wonder if there isn't a chance Regehr might return to Calgary as a veteran guy to help mentor younger players as early as next season. Look at LA's roster, and cap situation, and will they have a spot for a guy like Regehr past this coming season unless he wants to make like 800k a year. I actually think him moreso than a guy like Iginla is someone who may return to Calgary to finish his career as a veteran guy to help the young players develop a winning culture.

Looking at his pictures - a Stanley Cup, a Ferrari - he has everything, maybe except a hair transplant?

I hope so too. I wonder if he still has hard feelings about how he left? Or now that management has changed, maybe those have gone away?

When an NHL player invites you to hold/drink, etc from the Cup, you do it. Very happy I did a long time ago when some skinny kid from Brantford asked me to hold the Cup with him in a picture.
