I wonder if there is any way to watch the rest of Vasek's QF this morning?

Nice to see his singles game rebounding.

Looks like the 3rd set just started, according to the ATP site. Vasek leads 1-0.

Giraldo had a fantastic chance to break serve up 40-15 in the 7th game, Vasek comes all the way back to take it, now up 4-3 in the 3rd set.

Nice! Vasek breaks serve to finish the match, and moves on! Wins the 3rd set 6-4.

Vasek won 6-4. Nice win for him, made another $35K getting into the semis and jumping him up to 28th in the rankings (haven't looked at guys around him gaining points though).

The semi against Gasquet would be worth 120 points and another $80K.

Great to see as he's taking some of the pressure off himself to defend all those points next week... would still take a hit in the rankings if he crashes out but nowhere near as bad now.

Just realized he has to play the semi tonight after fighting hard for that set this morning?

Man that is a huge advantage for Gasquet... I guess they didn't have much choice with the final going tomorrow but that is really lame.

Vasek is much more mentally tough these days, great to see. I just hope he can stay healthy.

Wow I just noticed Vasek's draw next week... Gasquet in the 1st round and if he upsets him... Murray in the 2nd and Djokovic in the 3rd? Ouch.

Actually a really tough draw for Canadians in general other than Milos. Dancevic got the semifinalist from the Citi Open, Vasek got absolutely murdered and the two promising young Canadians Peliwo and Schnur both got seeds in the qualifying draw.

I was really hoping to see that Brayden Schnur kid at the Rogers cup next week but he got a tough draw in qualifying. Another big kid (6'3") with a big serve. He is the #1 ranked freshman in NCAA tennis this year by a long ways and he looks like he has the skillset to join Milos and Vasek as a tour regular.

Genie gets Serena's quarter, hopefully we can get that matchup as they've been slated to meet in both the French and Wimbledon before Serena got upset.

Halfway home to an all-Canadian final as Milos prevails 7-5 in set 2. Come on Vasek.

Just caught the PVRed match. A really good push by Milos during the tiebreaks. That mental edge is really worked out for him well today.

He's his own worst enemy right now. If he cuts down on the unforced errors he should be able to take this match. Gasquet's game is pretty underwhelming in all aspects outside of the backhand.

That is always the case with Vasek, he has a combo of power and athleticism as good as anybody on tour. He'll look like a top 10 player for a couple months and then just disappear for a few. Then again to be fair, his big disappearance this year was related to that back injury.

Tough to watch right now. Gasquet has absolutely no business having a shot at this match. Kid has really got to work on the game between his ears.
