Risebrough got my vote. I'd give it to Bure if he was a little less selfish with his play.

Apparently if you click on another name after hitting submit, it may chose that name as your vote.

So, for this one, I am going with the dark horse, Trent Yawney.

McSorely got the best of him, but shredding a jersey of an Oiler while in the penalty box is magic. Sather complained and wanted the Flames to pay $ for it the next day.

Val Bure was equivalent to Huselius, just with a lot less help around him.

Bure had 212 points as a Flame, Risebrough had 169. Not arguing for Bure (I say Doug) but just for reference. Pretty much equal GP

And points measure everything in the NHL.

Anyone who wants to know what Risebrough brought to the Flames should watch the 1986 game 7 video. More so than Lanny, Risebrough was the emotional leader of a Flames team that took down one of the best hockey teams ever put together. Just watch when he blows a gasket: Risebrough isn't angry the way most hockey players get angry during a game; he acts as though the opposing player just slapped his sister. And he was a very good all-around player too, who could play on a scoring line or check the opposing team's top player.

To put in terms younger fans will understand, Risebrough was Craig Conroy with the temperament of Theo Fleury.

I hate Bure... circling from behind the net into the slot, circling again, then flopping a wrister at net. Yeah sure, a few went in, but when you do it that often it's gotta. That Young Guns era was difficult as a fan but I stuck it out...
