Anyone who wants to know what Risebrough brought to the Flames should watch the 1986 game 7 video. More so than Lanny, Risebrough was the emotional leader of a Flames team that took down one of the best hockey teams ever put together. Just watch when he blows a gasket: Risebrough isn't angry the way most hockey players get angry during a game; he acts as though the opposing player just slapped his sister. And he was a very good all-around player too, who could play on a scoring line or check the opposing team's top player.
To put in terms younger fans will understand, Risebrough was Craig Conroy with the temperament of Theo Fleury.
