I think it is, but I'm not quite sure.

Well if it is, but I'm advocating Ebola for everyone, than I am very forward thinking!

I just don't understand why anyone with ebola would be allowed to travel to North America. Seems like a careless risk, its highly infectious and there is no cure.

ya, I don't understand this either. Why bring people to North America who have it?

If it was your family member would you want the same thing?

Looking after your citizens i think. Care is going to be way better in North America, proper measures will be taken to prevent the spread. I imagine the chances of their survival will be much higher in North America.

What care will be so much better in the states that couldn't be arranged in a country that already has the disease? It seems like an unnecessary risk for people who assumed the risk when they went there. If there was a cure or a substantially better odds of survival by brining them then fine but that's not the case either.

I would hazard that infinitely better care can be arranged in the United States than what could be slapped together in these African countries. Look, it's not like the CDC is going to drop them off at some random hospital; these guys are going to go to a BL4 facility where, in all likelihood, they will die. Let them die with some small measure of peace knowing they are home and have their families close by.

The risk to the public is nil.

You might be able to get better care in the USA, but it will still "cost" you your life. #500DollarAsprin

It's named after a river in the Congo where one of the first outbreaks happened.

Outbreak was such a cool movie it made me become a virologist. I have yet to kidnap army helicopters or work with anyone as hot as Renee Russo... I feel cheated.

Looks like I need to start my end of the world planning. Neighbours are gonna look at me funny as I am digging my bunker in the back yard this weekend and filling it with food. How long do lays potato chips last if the bag isn't open?

My extraordinary response has been to load up on ammo and canned goods.
