I could never get into that gen Supra... too big and bubbly for my tastes, and that spoiler was a little too pre-riced. I'd rather have the MR2 Twin Turbo...although finding an unmolested one is nearly impossible.
That Scirocco looks awesome. My friend had one of those...every once in a while when he used his blinker, the horn would go off.

I also liked the precious gen Supra as well, very square.

My favorite was the Mk2, when it was still the Celica Supra.

Had an 88 Honda CRX. So fun to drive. Best part, just 2 seats, so no giving everyone a ride somewhere.

My face is a bum!

I drove this 1991 Mazda Protégé GT for a few months while I was waiting for my Cobalt SS to be delivered (that one is close to making my list too... fun car to drive, but man did it fall apart fast).
These were a Canada only model, and despite the fact mine had no 3rd gear, needed oil every time I got fuel, and wouldn't start below about 5 degrees, it was one of the most fun cars I've ever owned.
I really miss driving a car that weighs less than 3000lbs. No matter how good a car handles now, you never quite get the feeling of throwing it around like you did with this era.

Buy the Scirocco!
I like the looks of the Supra, but the powerband on them is so spiky, and limited through the rev range.

I had an '85 Supra. Not very fast, but a very fun car to drive and I think its one of the best looking vehicles made in the '80's.

Although my current has is technically 6 pounds less than 3000, I miss my Protege 5 for this reason. That thing was so light and toss-able, it made it really fun in the city. If it wasn't for the rust, I would've loved to have kept it as a daily driver.

Just looked up the Hi-Ace. Can it be more awesome? Diesel, AWD and it looks just big enough to fit a bike with wheels-on. I may have to start figuring out how to import one of these RHD vehicles.

The Mazda 3 before Mazda completely butchered the design in 2010. I've owned an '05 and now have an '08, and for the price you pay I just don't see anything better in that segment. Zero issues with either car mechanically, they just wok and are fun to drive. It also forced companies like Honda and Toyota to step up their game, as mid-2000's Corollas and Civics were so bland and boring

It's HUGE inside. Yet with a small footprint, since it's basically a big box on wheels, and has no bloat. They come in a few different sizes (biggest one has 5 rows of seats and can sit 15 people, yet only slightly longer than a Sienna). It's some sort of black magic.

Get a Mitsubishi Delica instead of a HiAce. The Delica's are awesome and there are actually quite a few roaming the streets of Calgary.

Heh, my friends dad bought one of these when I was in high school (mid life crisis car as my friend put it) and he took us down to Seattle for a baseball game and on the way back the engine blew. Fun times...

This was my first car, a 2nd gen Honda Prelude. It was such a fun car to drive, I just wish the one I bought was in better shape and lasted a bit longer.

I always liked the styling of the 3rd gen too (obviously a body kit on this one):

The Mustang LX with the 5 L, not the GT, was the car to get back in the day. All the engine, none of the crappy plastic body panels.
