Is that normal for a dog owner? Reading that made my stomach turn. Do you clean them before you let them into your bed, or do they finish their day and you just let them hop in with you? I thought you put a dog in a kennel at the end of the day.

No, it's definitely not normal for a dog owner. But our dogs are not normal either. They are dumb, yuppy and spoiled rotten. But we love them nevertheless. Remember, nobody will ever love you as much as your dog.

P.S. Wait, are you one of those microbe-phobiac people that use sanitizer every time they shake hands with someone?

Yeah my dog was the same way, the hardest part about getting a girlfriend way back was teaching her to sleep on the floor

May not be new, but its new to me. Are there no service dogs in Muslim countries? If you are a blind devout Muslim do you have to use a revered cat to lead you around?

You would think a religious group would advocate animals which behave with a pack mentality. I guess they chose to symbolize dogs as being unclean.

If Malaysia was represented with a dog... yeah I guess they can complain, but who cares. I imagine our country is just as susceptible to having stupid people come out and cry if an Islamic country did the same thing to us, but with one of their cultural symbols.

Do you thoroughly clean yourself before you let you get in to your bed every single time?

I don't think you'll ever find a strict Muslim that owns a dog. But most Muslims I've met don't pray 5 times a day at home so don't care either way when it comes to dogs. Even a strict Muslim can technically have an outdoor dog or handle his friend's dogs.
