Milk in bags tastes better. And it's more Canadian.

Any brand of regular milk is the same to me. But I will argue that Beatrice Chocolate Milk with added Buttermilk is superior to any other carton/jug chocolate milk on the market. Especially when the word "beverage" or "drink" is on the label.

I always liked Dairyland milk, other brands taste weird at times.

I definitely think different brands of milk taste differently. I drink skim, so there's not much different there, but as you get fattier versions of milk, I find the consistency and taste are different, with chocolate milk being the easiest to distinguish. During Christmas time, I can tell the difference of eggnog, just by looking at it. That might be more to do with the recipe, rather that the milk though.

I'm guessing that one cow doesn't supply the milk for every milk producer. I wouldn't lose it on you, but I'd find it really weird to strike up a conversation with a Safeway employee to tell them that all brands of milk taste different. I'd just go in there and buy milk if I liked the brand.

This info was given to me this morning with my groceries.

EDIT: Oh yeah, and when you link cards before Sep 12 you're entered to win 5,000 Air Miles.
is there a webpage for this? seeing if I can get it done without having to go to a store to get the transfer info. Thanks

Yesterday I saw a guy who was pretty pissed that the $70 in rewards they were saving up was gone. Yes, could be converted to Air Miles, and I knew it was coming. However I did notice it odd that prior to the switch there was nothing in the stores warning people.

Not the case at our Sobey's. Signage everywhere the past 4-5 weeks, plus a table right inside the doors with Airmiles applications etc.

Even the front sliding glass doors had been painted (stampede'ish) advertising Airmiles.

I think we shop at the same one. Yes, Airmiles is coming. However nothing saying "you must use your Club Sobeys points by X date, or else they will convert automatically to Air Miles."

I know everytime I used my card prior to the switch, I was informed by the cashier if I knew about it (Forest Lawn store).

Almost every time I shopped there since the announcement I had a flyer tucked in my back, I also got e-mails about it from both airmiles and club Sobeys.

I would like to criticize IGA and Sobeys for this, but no way of knowing this isn't the general practice everywhere.

Just got an email stating that on January 29th Safeway and Sobeys will start issuing a combined flyer.

Yeah, you would drink skim.

Definitely different taste between brands. Like way different. I'm accustomed to Safeway's brand (Lucerne?). If I buy milk from anywhere else it's absolutely undrinkable.

You are still entered when you swipe you Air Miles card.

Last night I collected four free glasses, candy and popcorn from all their stamps and game cards. 130 Air Miles. Nothing has really changed.

I'm shocked at how many adults drink milk.
