Didn't really like the 6v6 either. But I found the opposite. I figure 3-4 solid hits should take down an enemy. Not unloading a full clip, reload, then a couple more shots.
A shotgun, sniper rifle, or fusion rifle will kill anyone at full health with a single shot, as do all the class abilities. At least with the shotgun and fusion rifles they're limited by range, but even an auto-rifle will down a full health enemy with only a few shots at center mass. The zoomed-in FOV the game uses also sucks, it's not so bad when you're playing the campaign mode but in a fast paced PvP game it's terrible

I wasn't impressed either, but that's the whole point of the Beta test, see what works and what doesn't. Bungie has a history of making great PvP games through the early Halo games, I'm sure they'll figure this out before release.
Remote play on the ps vita is really well done. If you have a vita I suggest you try it out. Destiny runs quite well and the controls are map very well.
The "Ghost Edition" of the upcoming Bungie shooter Destiny is sold out at most retailers, but you can still nab one on eBay for hundreds (or thousands) of dollars.
I don't get people who buy these special editions, but to each their own.
I could for an established title or franchise, but for something that hasn't even released yet...seems premature to buy it even if the beta has been solid.

I liked when special editions were simple -- you paid $10 more and got a tin case with a special box art, a cloth map, and a soundtrack. Now games come out with three different special editions and they cost over $100 and most of the stuff that comes with it is just pointless junk or useless DLC. And none of the, are really that 'special' -- you can find dozens of them kicking around stores months after the game has come out.

That is fairly true for the most part. There are the odd ones that are indeed very rare - like that Ni No Kuni White Wizard Edition. The Destiny Ghost editions are also long gone but the odd "limited" ones pop up (PS3 recently I think).
Of course you also have the crazy versions that are never for retail like the Hunter Edition for Uncharted 2. Only 200 ever made.
I was a little surprised by the price (100 bucks! for the edition with the season pass) but I love being able to pre-load it and play it right at midnight on the 9th.
Were gonna need to get lots of CP guys going, so we can tackle strike zones and raids.

I'll be in!

Why can't this come out a week earlier!
It's being released just in time for me to get back to uni.
Anyone on xbox grouping up, or is it just ps players?
