I believe in the Jays.

Gotta go with Kulak. 0.87PPG in the Dub for a defender is really good. I kind of get a TJ Brodie type vibe off of him and I love me some TJ Brodie.

I went Knight ... and have to admit I was swayed by Pierre yesterday. I like Ferland, I like Kulak, and I like both Smith and McDonald here as well.
Nice to see a race again!

Kulak for me for the second round in a row. If he can be another TJ Brodie as has been suggested on here then he'll be an absolute gem for us.
I seriously doubt any of the remaining forwards have what it takes to become regular NHLers.

Ferland for me. I'm a believer that had he not broken his leg last year, he would have continued his tear with the Heat, and parlayed that into a successful debut with the Flames. I think he spends some time in Calgary this year, and I won't be surprised to see him stay.

Ferland for me. Big, moves well, great hands and shot. Could be a good sleeper.

I've been voting Kulak for a few rounds now. My metric is basically, if this player hits his reasonable potential, how much will he contribute on ice? #3/4 D are more important than 2nd/3rd line tweeners, which is all we have left in terms of forwards.
This is mixed with a little "how likely is this to happen" -- hence why McDonald isn't going higher for me.

Ferland. We haven't seen what exactly we have in the kid, yet every time we see glimpses, it's something special.

I picked Agostino because he really stepped it up and played decent hockey at the NHL level. I think Kulak will surprise people next year, but for now, I think Aggy is a top 15 prospect.

The logic is sound, but there are one or two forwards left on the list who realistically make a bigger impact. If Ferland or Smith develop into 2nd/3rd line tweeners, I would argue that this is potentially a much more valuable contribution. Size, skill, speed, and a mean streak are a tantalising and volatile combination of attributes. Even if one of these players can harness that potential in a third-line role, he becomes an indispensable core player. If one of them does not look out of place on the second line, then this could arguably make him one of the most valuable players on the team.

went Kulak here (again) since I think he is the best potential upside on D left, and top 4D IMO more valuable than 2/3 line forwards. Have Smith coming up soon though, due to his size - a more unique player in that forward group, and McDonald, who is very raw, but could end up anywhere from ECHL to NHL starter - very hard to predict right now.

Kulak for me. Lots of options here though, I don't see a landslide for anyone during the next few rounds.

Ferland for me.
He has not only shown that he is close (was due for a call-up before his injury) but has also shown a potential that is a tantalizing mix of talent, speed and toughness.
There are still a few guys on the list that have very high potential (Smith, Kulak and McDonald for instance), but Ferland has very exciting potential and is already knocking on the door.

Kulak again. Ferland right behind, and I am betting would be much higher in the polls had he finished the year. I keep wanting to pick him for a number of rounds now, as he is one of my favorite prospects.. just so many damn good ones now!

I jumped on the Kulak bandwagon. I really don't have a good feel on how his career will progress, but the supporters have convinced me. Ferland would be next for me. I don't think Knight will be a full-time NHLer. Agostino will have a better chance but not sold on him either.

It's really hard to argue with a lot of the choices being made.
Personally, I am leaning towards Kanzig, Roy and McDonald.

I think this is the toughest round yet. So many solid players remaining on the board, yet no one player stands out as decisively better than the rest.
I went with Agostino.
I've had the opportunity to see him play a few games during his college years, and he always seems to be in the right spot, utilizes his speed well, and is tenacious in his puck pursuit. Anxious to see what he can do at camp this year.

Tough round. Kulak, Knight, Kanzig (mostly because I'm intrigued) and Ferland.
Went with Ferland since I think he might have 2nd-3rd line winger potential. The rest I view as 3-4th line or bottom pairing (or too unknown - Smith, MacDonald, etc).

Kulak's development the next two seasons will be key.
Is he our next TJ Brodie, or is he our next John Negrin. I can see it going either way.
