Do yourself a favour and buy the DVD or Blu-ray and watch it with the commentary audio. They do it in character and it's as funny as the movie.

In one scene the camera pans around, and the band members all have similar cold sores on their lips. Subtle and hilarious.

Okay, was never a Maroon 5 fan but I have a lot of newfound respect for Adam Levine after this rendition of Purple Rain at Howard Stern's birthday bash. I'd like Maroon 5 combine their poppy sound with a more heavy guitar sound like this. Levine is surprisingly amazing on the strat.

Saw this article a few days ago, basically referring to 1974 as one of the worst years in modern music history.
