Thats a huge blow to the National Team, but the guy has 113 caps and has served the team for 10 years.

I hope he reconsiders and retires after the Euros.

There are rumors that Dunga will return as Brazil coach. This is what Brazilian futbol has come to. What a ####ing disaster.

I'm not sure why anyone, who isn't about the money, would take that job. If you win, it's just the expected result, if you lose, even in the semis, you're an absolute villain.

It's not like England, where if you lose you're a villain, but if you managed to win, you'd be a god.

I think losing in Brazil isn't so bad usually. It's just the way they play. With no flow.

Lots of the Italian vets did a similar thing after the 2006 World Cup win.

They "retired" since they didn't want to go through the qualifying campaign, but then in the months leading up to the tournament played the last round of qualifying, and friendlies prior to the tournament in order to play in the Euro 2008.

If people thought Fernandinho's only contribution is kicking people just wait until they get to see Felipe Melo. That dude is unhinged.

Its a shame Zidane wasnt there. I'd pay money to see Zidane head-butt Ashton Kutcher...

Sounds like every Brazil fan that isn't actually from Brazil.

Bandwagoners.

Maybe. I've been a Brazil fan since the 90s. But Brazil no longer plays like they did in the 90s. It would be like if the Flames signed Avery, Ott and Cooke.

So I need a new team. Or just be neutral.

The World Cup is here in Edmonton at Commonwealth. The U-20 Women's World Cup, that is. Going to check out Brazil - USA on Friday cause ticket sales were abysmal for today's games. Support the cause, I guess...

My cousin is volunteering for it up in Edmonton. He's having a lot of fun with it. Sounds like it is a decent atmosphere

Here's one from the World Cup today... best goal in women's soccer that I have ever seen.
