As of now, the only detail I have is that he was involved in a cycling accident and is in a hospital. I do not know anything more than that.

Sarich's agent, Tim Hodgson, said in a press release that Sarich was hit by a car while training on his bike in Invermere, B.C. He was airlifted to a hospital in Calgary and is in stable condition with non-life-threatening injuries.

The air lift part likely sounds scarier than it is - likely just a transport flight from Invermere to Calgary. But "multiple broken vertebrae"? Hoping for a fast and full recovery!
