Default Coal Rollers / Rolling Coal?

Apparently this is a popular thing?

Sure the import fart pipes and truck nuts were just dumb and annoying, but these chimney stacks trump those 10 fold.
It's bad enough being behind a regular diesel truck when they needlessly rev their engines excessively to flex their penises.

I was going to put this in the "I don't want to live on this planet anymore" thread, but figured these redneck d-bags needed their own thread.

Quote:
With states like Arizona and Idaho doing their best to nullify the regulatory power of the Environmental Protection Agency, and climate denialism perhaps its most virulent, it is in keeping with an absurdest logic that “coal rolling,” the act of modifying a truck to spew black soot, has emerged as a phenomena. It seems a certain subset of far-right conservatives has found a physical representation of its gleeful disdain for all things environmental.

“Coal rollers” modify their diesel trucks with smoke stacks and smoke switches, which increases the amount of fuel that is dumped into the engine, causing it to combust improperly and emit a black plume of smoke when the engine is revved.

Ironic that those who want the least government best exemplify why we need it.

So, when one of these a-holes 'coal-rolls' a driver, who then runs over someone because of the smokescreen disorientation, or triggers an asthma attack in a cyclist or bystander that kills them, are they going to be charged with some sort of manslaughter?

Seriously, anyone who finds this funny or amusing in any way, is subhuman.

Truck ricers. Just like Ricers make real car guys look bad, coal rollers look real truck guys look bad. That's what makes me hate it even more, now If I want to enjoy my truck I'm labelled a ###### because of the people that take it too far.

I have seen some tool going up and down 52nd street near Mackenzie towne with a set up like this......talk about a stupid accessory that nobody asked for........a switch to dump more fuel into the engine that does not get burned properly when gas is a $1.20 per liter........you know you have more money than brains when....

Between crap like this and noisy tailpipes I hope the cops can figure out a way to ticket this crap.......

It's simple.

Ricers = A car enthusiast subculture made up of d-bags

Coal rollers = A truck enthusiast subculture made up of d-bags

Now just how is it the idiots sticking their faces directly in the plume of exhaust/smoke not winning Darwin awards in the process?

There's no justice in the world.

I watched that video after I posted, and the drivers of the vehicles are clearly tools.....to drive by cyclists and pedestrians and then gun it to produce a big discharge of smoke what a bunch of tools the drivers of these vehicles are......and then I can not even think of a proper combination of nouns and adjectives to describe gunning it in traffic......

Coal rollers often refer to their trucks as "Prius repellents" Its becoming popular as a way to protest EPA regulations and Obama's latest coal emission cuts. Stupid Idiots.

They should make those vehicles no longer roadworthy and they should be fined accordingly.

Stuffing crap in a pipe designed to emit crap... not sure if that's the most effective action.
