Default Out of town lawyer for a new house

Quick question,
As mentioned in a previous thread, I will be moving to Edmonton from Grande Prairie.

I have found a house and now require the services of a lawyer to complete the transaction.

Three choices for a lawyer so I was looking for some advice.

Do you hire a lawyer in the city that you are moving to. (This could be a pain if you have to sign everything in person)

Do you hire a lawyer in the city that you are coming from. (This could work out nicely as the house I am selling is in Grande Prairie)

Do you hire the resident CP lawyer. (Strong recommendations, but he is in Calgary and I may not make it to the city between now and possession date.)

Someone can correct me if wrong, but I'm pretty sure the lawyer just has to be in the same province. Therefore, you can use someone in Grand Prairie to keep it simple and local.

I'm in the process of moving to a different city (in BC) and I'm allowed to use the same lawyer since I'm staying in the province.

You could use the Gr. Prairie lawyer.

Using the Grande Prairie lawyer is probably the easiest.
