For sure there will be some casualties, but look at the amount of bombings they have carried out in the last week, 180 people is a lot but it would be a lot worse had they not used these knock knock bombs.
I can't really get on either side here, they are both causing the problems, be it building settlements, rocket firing, kidnappings, suicide bombings etc. Neither side is innocent, but I think if the Palestinians got rid of Hamas maybe peace could be achieved?
Exactly 57 seconds after initial warning the bigger bomb is dropped. That's not targeting civilians?
They made a phone call first. Then dropped an earlier warning, then dropped th 57 second warning.
Even if you're right, if they were targeting civilians, why drop the 57 second warning at all? Wouldn't it make more sense to send as little warning as possible.

Hamas hasn't been around forever and there has never been steady peace. There will not be peace as long as Israel treats the Palestinians like they do and denies them their own state.
This conflict will be here long after Hamas is gone and the next regime is gone.

Nope, if I had 57 second to get the hell out of dodge you know i would be able to do it! I am sure there is a reason for that timing, any more and the rockets and weapons caches could be taken out of the building. Just a guess but would make sense to me.
I don't think Israel targets civilians, even if you try to justify that statement by saying they target civilian homes (they do), their intentions are very clear: Kill/disable Hamas. I have no doubt, however, that their concern for civilians in comparison with their desire to eliminate Hamas is completely disproportionate.
The problem is not that Israel actively seeks out civilian targets, it's that Israel does not seem concerned with civilian lives. Their efforts to protect them are mostly superficial, or embarrassingly ineffective at best.
Also if Israel were targeting civilians the whole block would be flattened, this was a very small targeted bomb meant to clear that building woke not causing much damage to surrounding buildings.
Apropos of nothing in particular, but how familiar is everyone with the geography and size of this area?
I've sure never been there, but a quick google search tells me that the Gaza Strip is about half the size of Calgary, has ~500,000 more people, and is hemmed in by the drink on one side and a concrete fence on the other.
I took screenshots of GoogleMaps, adjusted until the scales were equal, and arrived at the following:
"Compared with any other military, [Israel’s] armed forces take exceptional care to avoid civilian casualties. If a house is going to be bombed, a call is placed to it announcing this fact, and explicitly warning civilians to get out. A pilot might also drop a “door-knocker” on the roof — a nonlethal sound bomb also intended to announce an impending attack. The real bomb that’s then loosed on the target is often a munition, sometimes quite small, specifically selected to contain damage to the target and spare the neighbors"
"Haaretz reported on Thursday that the Gaza Interior Ministry – run, of course, by Hamas – sent out text messages to Gazan residents calling on them to disregard Israeli warnings to evacuate their homes ahead of the airstrikes. “The aim of the [warnings] is to scare civilians, and civilians must act responsibly and not follow misleading Israeli instructions,” the message read.
This is vile; families are told by their leaders to stay put in their homes when they know they are about to be bombed by F-16s? It’s something like this that tells you no matter how much Hamas may be on the receiving end of Israel’s manhandling of Gaza, and no matter how much it may be the weaker side, it is not any reasonable person’s idea of the “good guy” in this or any other circumstance."
