Huh?

The Ukraine's certainly do including the Buk system among a lot of other medium to long range anti-aircraft systems.

It's not the same thing...which is why I called you on it. You can't go around attacking people about what they post when they didn't post it!

No doubt they will offer after they have gone through it lol, but will they be able to clean up the evidence of a blast? Will there be parts missing when the investigators get there?

That's what I was thinking, like how they find missile parts from Iran in Israel, Iraq etc. Hopefully they can track this thing and bring someone to justice.

Yeah ... they'll definitely remove those portions. However, in the end they'll pretty much implicate themselves when they reconstruct the plane and there is an area missing and the international question invariably turns into

"So where is this part, and why would they have not turned it over?"

If they did it, they're screwed either way.

27 Australian citizens
23 Malaysian citizens

1 Canadian citizen.

47 victims still unknown nationality.

Just a matter of time before Putin suggests Russia would be uniquely qualified to conduct the investigation.

Thanks for the highlights. I'm wondering what the Dutch decide to do about this, considering they had the most passengers aboard and a Dutch airline number attached.

It sounds like everybody else (the Separatists, Russians, etc) are playing the game of pass the hot potato on who didn't do it.

Please don't go, your views are appreciated here. I think this matter deserves a proper discussion be it from one side or the other.

Ignore the childish behavior, we appreciate your contributions. No one is making light of the tragedy, instead arguing over idiotic political nonsense.

We don't know, it wasn't at the crash site, maybe it fell off of the plane and could be anywhere.

IF the CIA has a radar track of the missile launch and the detonation, they can track troop movements if they had a satellite watching the area.

Nobody would ask where a missing part of a disintegrated plane was. Most parts will be missing regardless of interference I would imagine. I'm no expert though, so maybe I'm mistaken

I think we will find that many of the other 47 people will be US and UK citizens. This will not be good for Russia and the rebels imo as they are alienating themselves from the rest of the world.

They absolutely ask where missing parts are. It doesn't mean they always find them, but considering the circumstances, if there are significant missing portions, people are going to have extra scrutiny.

No one is going to be brought to justice, the plane flew over a combat zone and was shot down. There will be no more justice here than to the 4 boys shelled on the Beach in Gaza playing football.

It's a sad day and a terrible tragedy, but I don't think we should hold out hope that anyone will be punished for this.

Prayers to the people who died, they had nothing to do with the conflict, but neither do most civilian casualties.
