Given the results, I don't think its unreasonable to expect that Cammy was worth more than a 3rd at some point during the season, especially when the team has stated to be willing to hold back salary.
So according to you Burke should have known in December that Cammy would be worth a third in March? If he could predict the future he wouldn't be managing a hockey team.

Tell me exactly how he was suppose to know this months before and find a trade partner willing to clear cap space to land a player who has a history of injuries and was having a terrible season.
There's a general lack of basic high school science class here. What are you expecting in a Flames forum, video surveillance of Burke working the phones - verified by a forensic expert? Who here ever "proves" anything?

He's suppose to be a good manager and be responsible for the results. Like... all good managers, in any business. Maybe you wouldn't know?

I see.

Forecasting and knowing the market is not fortune telling, its basic sales and economics. Its expected in nearly every sector? Well, I think you and I aren't capable of understanding each other. I'm confident there's a big gap in business knowledge between us. Have the last word if you wish.

You must have a brick for a brain. You expect Burke to know Cammys worth 4 months in advance forgetting that things change daily that would affect that value. Do you expect the weatherman to know the temperature 4 months from now because it's his job?

I have a Bcomm. You must be working on yours with a know it all attitude like that.

Forecasting the market based on what? Your the genius. What would have told Burke Cammy would be worth a 3rd in March?

the only thing you will accomplish here is a sore head from beating it against the wall.
