Well I guess it's easier to understand how Barcelona shells out so much for players when they clearly have 7 year-olds volunteering in their graphics department.

Made me chuckle. Talk about rubbing their faces in it. Basically calling them losers.
Good riddance.

How is that calling Liverpool losers? He said he wanted to play in Spain one day, and now he got his wish.

Maybe Barca can fly him on a helicopter just hoovering a few feet above field level at Nou Camp. He is not technically stepping foot in the stadium. That's a cool way to say FU to FIFA.

Spurs stadium good to build now
Quote:
Tottenham's plans to build a new stadium took a major step forward on Friday after the club were granted permission to use a site earmarked for the project.
Ministers have agreed with a compulsory purchase order made by the London Borough of Haringey, which will enable the Northumberland Development Project to continue.
More than 95 per cent of the three-hectare site has already been approved and the order was requested to allow the final two of three phases to go ahead.
Communities Secretary Eric Pickles said: "This scheme is supported by the locally determined development plan for the area and has received strong local support."
Earlier this year, Tottenham expressed their hope that the new 56,250-capacity stadium would be ready by 2017. The current ground capacity of White Hart Lane is approximately 36,240

In the end, did Spurs have to provide a full S106 contribution?

United have confirmed their kit deal with adidas.
James Ducker @DuckerTheTimes
As reported in Times the other week, #mufc have just announced a ten year kit deal with Adidas worth £750m starting from next season (15/16)
so it's indeed £75m per year ... wow. Just to compare that - Real Madrid gets £31m from Adidas, Chelsea and Arsenal both get £30m from Adidas and Puma respectively, Barcelona get £27m from Nike and Liverpool £25m from Warrior. Absolutely crazy deal. That means that United will receive a combined £130m per year from adidas and Chevrolet.

Vidal agent on Vidal to #mufc: "I don't talk to journalists". Hangs up...

when it comes to United, the English journos have been a thing of beauty lately ... ever since van Gaal was appointed, the leaking of info from within the club has stopped and it shows that they no longer have a clue. They had no idea of the Herrera signing and their tone has completely changed ... they no longer report something as a fact, but generally just start with "I believe" or "I think".Now they get desperate and call the agents, who don't tell them a thing either. I absolutely love it

Vidal would be huge for Man U.
Exactly the type of engine they need in the midfield.

From a planning perspective that's ridiculous. However, with the changes the Tories have been making to the planning system Spurs aren't the only ones making off like bandits. In fairness to them, they are at least providing benefits of substance to the local community.

Gonna take a wild stab in the dark here and guess that Vidal and Yaya don't share the same agent.
Van Gaal tapping up laying the foundations with Robben.
Quote:
“I am happy at Bayern but he’s (Van Gaal) said there is always room for me,” said the winger. “Van Gaal is the best coach I’ve had. We’ve got a very special relationship.
“After the match he did ask me to come to Manchester, but I will not move. I’m at the right place at Bayern so that has nothing to do with Van Gaal or United.”

sooo ... Juventus manager Antonio Conte resigned today, just one day after starting the training for next season. Juventus offered him a new contract over three years, but instead he resigned on the spot. Italian media say it's because of the clubs transfer policy - he's angry because they don't want to spend, they missed Sanchez and Cuadrado, and they want to sell Vidal to United (Gazzetta dello Sport says the clubs have agreed a fee). Seems like Vidal to United will actually happen ...

He had said in the past if they sold Vidal or Pogba he would leave, I really like Vidal, at his age I dont know if he's worth the price but looking at that new kit deal it doesn't seem to matter anymore for United
they still really need to fix the back 4 but their midfield would be right up there with the other top teams in the league
