Wut? Feaster made many mistakes during his tenure here. The handling of the Erixon fiasco certainly wasn't. If anything, it's a bright spot.

Can someone find the GIF of him not standing up for his teammate and skating to the bench?

It has the potential to be one of the best trades the Flames made over the last decade (although the competition is not that great).
But hey, some people just can't give Feaster any credit. Instead they try to blame him for things he didn't even have anything to do with.

Feaster really did do well in that deal considering that there was only one team he could trade him to. Mind you, maybe the Rangers offered more than they had too so that no one would investigate them for tampering. Clearly they knew he would sign with them. I love how a year later they didn't hesitate to move him out though, and he's like the worst piece the CBJ got in the Nash trade.

Even if what you say is true (it isn't) you can't look at drafts like that.
We drafted Rico Fata 6th overall before Datsyuk!

Heck, we drafted Tim Ramholt instead of Patrice Bergeron or Shea Weber. Now that would have been a game changer. Imagine getting Phaneuf and Weber/Bergeron on the same draft?

I'm still a little sad by Ramholt. I really thought he would turn into something decent.

Erixon must have nude photos of the CBJ GM to have gotten a one way deal.

Sometimes I genuinely forget whether his name is Tim or Tom.

Me too. And in theory it was the correct play. We already had our big, bruising defenseman in Dion, and needed a smooth-skating, puck-moving guy, so Ramholt made more sense than Weber.
Ahhh hindsight...Getzlaf & Weber...sigh...but, 19 teams could have had them both. (19 is an approximation, as Nashville used their 4th pick of the draft on Weber, Dallas didn't have a pick in the 1st round, etc. It's really probably only about 10 that could have, but still...)

This idiot should be suing his father for everything he's worth at this point. Committed career suicide right out of the gate. Let Tom be a lesson to all the kids out there...

Ramholt was crushed by Keenan for an NHL career but he's having fun in the Swiss league. Told he teammates with the Nexxxxt onnne...er Robbie Schremp.

As much as I want to agree, I would suggest it is Tom's own play that is killing his own career. He's basically trending into Alex Plante: First round defensive bust.
Perhaps if anything, the Flames should send Jan Erixon a box of chocolates and free passes to the Calgary Tower to thank him for his tampering that saved us this headache.
