I'd be curious to know how he ended up attending Wyoming of all schools.

I'll make sure to ask him, this is his third appearance on our show and he's a great guest.

I'll post the link to our site when the show goes up.

Id be curious to hear what his thoughts are on the new hit to the head rule for the QB's. There seems to be a grey area, like when Ray ducked and that caused the helmet to helmet contact. It's really putting defensive players in a tough position, imo.

That's a great question, I don't know how he'll answer that one because of the fines policy but I can throw it out there.

Stamps KR Jock Sanders named #CFL special teams player of the week, thanks to his 121-yard missed FG return. 2nd POW award in his career.

I know Cornish worked out yesterday, might have had a setback, so I don't think there's any reason to play him against the Cats.

Pretty serious injury bug hitting this team again.

And yet the depth! It sucks these guys are out - but I'm 100% confident that other guys will step in and they will be just fine.
The depth that Huff has assembled in virtually every position is unreal.

Lots of credit to John Murphy and his scouts. Then the coaches do a good job. Then top of it Huff is just amazing with not only re-stocking players but also coaches as well.

Best part about it. Almost all players (not just depth guys) are homegrown. Drafted or brought in from US by our own guys. Keep the overall salaries down as well.

Ex-NFLer DB Brandon McDonald added to practice roster.

McDonald played 80 games in the NFL over 6 seasons with Cleveland Browns, Arizona Cardinals, Detroit Lions and Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

From the Stampeders facebook page.

Coach Huff says Jon Cornish had a setback in recovery from his concussion and is unlikely to play in Edmonton
I know its a short turn around with the game being played on Thursday, but I was really hoping that he would be back, hopefully Huff is talking about the setback Cornish suffered last week and not another one.

And someone claimed that it was not a cheapshot.

Yep, i am still ticked that Kyries Hebert didn't even get suspended. It was definitely a payback hit after Nik Lewis clobbered that Alouette's player.

That concussion injury doesn't look like very serious. But I guess concussion injury really is hard to tell.

That really sucks for Cornish. Wish him a speedy recovery - that means something coming from a Rider fan However I wouldn't be overly surprised if we didn't see him back until Labour Day. Better to be extra careful with concussions

Walter is also really taking advantage of his opportunity and is playing well.

Yeah, I'm thinking this is the unintended consequence of Nik blowing up vulnerable opponents.

SUNMITCHELL: According to a source, Jon Cornish is headed for a stint on the 6-game. Return date would be Sept. 6, but they can pull him off early. #CFL

Crappy news. And Kyries Hebert gets nothing, what a joke.

Yep I totally agree. I sure hope Matt Walter play the way he used to play for Dinos. He was unstoppable back then. I wonder if the Stamps will sign another RB for the time being. Right now Walter is doing okay and so as Sanders but they need to play better otherwise teams will start pressuring and focus on BLM and ignore the run defense. I think former Winnipeg RB Will Ford is available. The guy can return punts and kickoffs as well.
