Found these this morning.

From the stands it was impossible to know what was said, but they had a very animated exchange on the bench. Several coaches and players had to pull DA away. Then he chucked a water bottle at Chick, with the cap off, water spraying all over.
He came over to Chick later to apologize, but Chick didn't look impressed, from what I could see from Row 20 behind the bench.

This may not be the only reason he is gone, but I would be surprised if it wasn't a factor.

Haha Stupid Riders. Stupid Anderson. Get trounced by the team and a day later get traded to that team. The fix was in.

So Anderson having some stability with the Stamps (played 3 years here) is onto his 3rd team in 5 seasons. Idiot.

So contrary to popular belief in Hamilton, it is impossible to build a brand new stadium in 14 months...who would have thought?

I didn't see the Gavins hit, so I can't comment, but I did see the Willis hit and I didn't see anything wrong with it (and I really loathe the Esks). It was a hard, but clean hit in my opinion.

Looks like GM Jim Popp is staying with Montreal for another 3 seasons. He just signed a 3-year extensions to stay as the General Manager for the Alouettes. This off-season was kind of strange in Montreal. Owner hiring Tom Higgins as a Head Coach and Popp not knowing about it. Then their OC Rick Worman was let go a few weeks before the training camp.

That was a pretty bad first half for both offenses.

Ottawa up 7-2 over Edmonton.

Yeah I thought so too. Higgins been known to do some boneheaded decision in the past with the Stamps and even with the Eskimos. One second left, why not ask Sean Whyte, who happens to be perfect tonight, and try a field goal. If he miss Winnipeg still have to get the ball out of the end zone to prevent a single point to tie the game. I just don't understand Higgins' decision.

As for Eskimos' game. There are bunch of questionable calls by the referees. Lang's roughing the passer is one of them. On the replay he didn't hit Reilly on the head which I think the ref did. I didn't watch the whole game but I just heard it was penalty-filled game.

Glen Suitor is a knowledgeable commentator but he gets annoying when he keeps repeating stories about a player.. for instance in tonight's game Adarius Bowman. Bowman deserves it but come on now. The worst for me is his man-crush on Emmanuel Arcenaux. It doesn't matter if the guy is playing or not, he just couldn't stop talking about him. I am glad he won't be doing the Stamps' game tomorrow.

Ottawa moves to 1-2 and gets a share of the lead in the east. Laughable.

That is so sad when a losing record is holding the conference lead

Get rid of the East/West separation and just make it all 9 teams

The one rule that I absolutely hate is face mask. Defenders can't touch the ball carriers facemask yet the ball carrier can stiff arm them right in the mask, often grabbing it. I wish they would call it. That and offensive PI. That should be called far more often than it actually is

The East is beyond pathetic. The 4 games this week were beyond terrible.

IMO Montreal is the worst team in the whole league and by far has the worst starting QB.

Yep I agree. So that means one of those pathetic team in the East will end playing in the Grey Cup because there is no crossover this year. I hope Eastern team at least make a move to improve their team during the season. Otherwise we will see another blowout Grey Cup game in favour of the West again.

Do you have a source for that? Everything my search turns up says that it's still in effect - if the fourth place team in one division (the West obviously) is ahead of the third in the other division (the East) they'll cross over. Still leaves two crap teams in the Eastern playoffs, but it's better than three!
