More and more talk it is happening, possibly as soon as tomorrow. Bosh would leave for Houston and Wade will be out in the cold and gave up $42 million over the next two years. Ouch. The Cavs will then apparently make a play for Love but obviously it won't be cheap.

I think them moving Wiggins for Love would be a mistake. Bennett in a package that didn't include Irving or Wiggins I would do from their point of view for sure. Wiggins + is a lot for Kevin Love. They need a post LeBron fallback plan and moving Wiggins would punch a hole in it.

You have to feel sorry for Wade if this does happen. At this stage of his career, $42M is a lot of money he might never ever earn back.

Wiggins + is not too much for Love. Love is a dominant player who has MVP potential every year and is only 25. As much as we love Wiggins because he is Canadian, being drafted 1st overall means nothing in the NBA.

Also don't forget unless it's a sign and trade Love would still be a free agent next year. So if something were to go awry Love may not even be in Cleveland next year. Everyone assumed Howard signing with the Lakers was a done deal, and look how that ended up.

The rumor is the condition on the Love trade is that the Cavs get Lebron. We likely won't know until next year but if Love wants a championship, it is hard to argue he has a better chance elsewhere when the Cavs have Lebron, Irving, Varejao, and Thompson.

Wiggin for Love will work for both Minny and Cleveland. Irving+Love+James all in their prime will dominate the East for the next 4 years easily. Individually, Bosh to Houston and James to Cleveland work for everyone except Wade.

Wade can go home to Chicago, maybe get a 4 year $50-60 million deal. Still loses some money but not too bad. Wiggins may end up being elite, maybe even the best player in the league, but Kevin Love is the best PF in the league right now and is just entering his prime. Plus he's never had protection in Minnesota like LeBron gives in terms of drawing defenses, so he could be even better. Love will re-up for a 4 year max and then he can go to LA or a big market for another max deal after that.

I'd really caution Cleveland from dealing away Wiggins. Love is no slouch and a really really good player, but teams have to learn that NBA players hold no loyalty. Love may leave at seasons end, and then it's just be LeBron and Irving. I don't think that'd be enough to win a championship. While it may take a couple seasons for Wiggins to develop into a threat, having all the pressure off you by being on a lineup with LeBron and Irving would be really good for development. They may be buying an extra championship with getting Love right away, but they have a better dynasty potential in keeping Wiggins and getting another PF to fill in in meantime. Really intriguing, but they need to build a fan base and I believe winning 1 championship then struggling isn't the right way to go about doing it. Building a team through developing Wiggins will be more challenging, but much more rewarding to the franchise.

Lebron's done meeting with teams for now without meeting with the Cavs. It's not likely he'll sign with the Cavs without meeting with them first. So Miami goes back to the first of the pecking order of signing Lebron.

ESPN Stephen A says in a podcast that Lebron is going back to Cleveland because Reily didn't treat his family right in South Beach.
Lebron meeting with Reily on Wednesday is just a polite gesture to tell him that. Crazy.
Mickey Arison being a cheapskate amenstied Mike Miller might come back and haunt him. The Big 3 were making him big money and he still nickle and dime a few millions of tax money

Help, save, whatever.

Has Lebron announced when he will choose his team? Will it be today?

Police are starting to be posted near LeBron's home and the speculation is an announcement comes out after 3:30PM ET - so in as little as 4 minutes

It should happen today because LeBron is heading to Brazil for the Final on Sunday. Or he could announce nothing and drive everyone insane for another 4 or 5 days. If nothing else credit to him and his guys for knowing how to keep LeBron front in center. Besides the World Cup he's the biggest story in sports and literally nothing has happened.

Except his "people" haven't done anything. He hasn't said a word, this is all the media citing "sources" and "reports". Don't blame him.

Let's put our bet in. I say LBJ signs with the Cavs and brings alone Mike Miller and Ray Allen.

The media's "sources" are LeBron's people leaking this stuff. It's the media game, LeBron wants to know what the reaction would be if he went back to Cleveland, so the "sources" test run is as good a way as any.
