We're not talking about previous performances.
France #### the bed against Germany. They sucked.
Brazil had no leadership without Thiago Silva. Again, they #### the bed and lost their heads.
In individual matches in the last 2 rounds, Germany haven't really come up against much opposition.

Yeah Argentina looks to be happy to get to penalties. Dutch need to make them pay

Or, they're that good.
It's hard to know which is closer to the truth.
But still, I think they will be considereded favourites no matter who they play.
And I think that means nothing

Kuyt is the Tom Cleverley of the Dutch team.
Everything is sideways and backwards.

They're definitely good. Not denying that.
Just don't think they've had a proper test yet. We'll find out one way or another.
I agree that they're favourites.

This looks like a bit of a managerial nightmare. I think they squandered 2 of their 3 subs, played two players that they probably shouldn't have and expect Dirk Kuyt to play left back for 2 hours. Weird. Maybe it'll pay off in the end.

Why does Robben remind me of Kesler? The punchable face and diving probably

If Netherlands makes the final without scoring a goal in 240 minutes, that has to raise some huge question marks.

Better than last night?
Balls.
This game would be no less interesting if there were no players and we watched the grass grow.

Also, if this is a scoreless tie, it would be the first scoreless semi-final ever (assuming the Finnish commentators are not full of it.)
Which would mean that we had the highest scoring and the lowest scoring semi-finals in the same year

Pretty much.
There was nothing riding on the game after 25 minutes last night.
There is a tension in this game that is building to the end of extra time.
Neither games have been great though.

Last night was one of the most exceptional nights in WC history. The game was over as a contest after half an hour, but it had repercussions that reverberated around the world. It will lead to a root and branch review of Brazilian football.
And. Something. Actually. Happened.
What will anyone remember of this match?
Instantly forgettable.

I believe in the Jays.

The best part of the game so far was that Mascherano tackle. That was incredible.
