Genie couldnot buy a first serve when the pressure was on today.
she looked shell shocked todsy instead of steely determination.
Great press conference after though. Gave creditand didnt bitd when given a leading question to go negative on her opponent.
she looks like she needs a break though.

Pospisil and Sock up a break in the third set! This has been a serving clinic for the most part.

The smile on Pospisil's face is infectious right now. You can tell how happy he is to be playing pain free and playing so well. Enjoy the moment for sure. He and Sock are reading everything so well. Great serving games.

Hahahahah! Bouchard and Roanic playing out of their minds, and it's Pospisil who ends up lifting the trophy.

Massive confidence booth for both into the hard court season. Vasek has had a rough year returning from the injuries so hopefully this propels him forward.

Great composure by Pospisil and Sock in that final. Even after the Bryans took the fourth set they never wavered and kept in control. Great to see.
Now a tennis question from a newbie that doesn't watch much but wants to follow our Canadians: what are differences between the various surfaces (clay/grass/hard court/other?)? Do certain surfaces favor particular types of players? Where do the Canadians generally have the best chance? I seem to remember us choosing hard courts for our home matches in the Davis Cup but I'm not sure if that was the strength of our game, the weakness for our opponents or just what we have available.
