Brodie and the Cure for CF
There's a reason TJ is dedicated to the Cure for CF charity. His cousin Ian received a double lung transplant a couple of years ago (not even), and he's doing great! So proud of the kiddo, his mom, dad, sisters and families for dedicating time and efforts to the cure for Cystic Fibrosis. I wanted to share this article for anyone who's interested- this is what #7 is up to in Chatham Ontario- and the little girl is his 4 year old niece who is just about as cute as cute gets! The handsome dude on the right is the one who got the lung transplant, and he's doing remarkably well and looks great!
Hope y'all are having a great summer in Calgary!

Quote:
Brodie was just one of the models sporting a variety of clothes from Nina Marie’s to raise money for cystic fibrosis research and to encourage organ donations.
It’s a cause that’s close to his heart.
Ian Badder, a 24-year-old from Thamesville and Brodie’s cousin deals with the disease on a daily basis.
In 2011 he was the recipient of a double lung transplant that saved his life.
The fashion show was Brodie’s modeling debut, but he said for now he plans to stick to hockey.
“This is the first time I’ve ever done anything like this,” he said. “I’m not much of a model.”
While the final dollar figure for the amount raised wasn’t immediately known, Badder said the event had already been a success.
“We wanted 50 organ donors by the event and as of tonight there are 123,” he said. “It surpassed what we had even hoped for.”

Attaboy Brodie, way to support a good cause. That's both TJs this year dabbling in modelling.
