And Israel doesn't go in to the West Bank and steal the water. If flows naturally into Israel from there.
But I guess it's more convenient to say...the average Israeli has x times as much water as the average Palestinians or that Palestinians must buy water off Israelis (at a reduced rated, which was negotiated under the Oslo Accords).
It actually may all be a moot point anyways. Israel has invented a desalination process which will soon be cheaper than piping in water.

Here's the circular logic in action.
"They won't act like a civilized nation and upgrade their infrastructure, so we're going to embargo them to prevent them from upgrading their infrastructure.
See what nice guys we are? If they would just act like an autonomous country we would let them act like an autonomous country, but we they won't so we'll continue to not let them."
A third of Israeli water comes from internationally recognized illegal land settlements.
There's the 'two sides' thing, and then there's the rampant disregard for the rule of law and international opinion.

#BabyKillerTerroristİsrael is the number 1 trend worldwide on Twitter. I'm sure Nage Waza approves.

Can you imagine Nage Waza and _Q_ sitting at a table and hashing out ideas for a solution?
Or would it more likely end in one of them throwing the table at the other and leaving?
.... and these guys both come across as extremely rational and level headed compared to I'm sure what you'd find in the middle of it.

I think if you re-read this thread you'll find it surprisingly one-sided.
There aren't any people excusing the violence used by Palestinian resistance.

Or they'll just withhold their tax money as previously stated.

Man, oh, man... As much as I appreciate and value your hockey posts, this one calls for a "Ken King's OMG" on your avatar.
Approximately one billion Arabs, pretty much the entire world Muslim population, hate everything about Israel and its mere existence. This includes Shii-tes and Sunnis that hate each other more than anything, except for their hate of Israel. And you've concluded that it's all about where the water is being drawn from??? Follow your logic a step further: assume that 100% of Israel's drinking water comes from desalination. Do you honestly believe that the conflict would be resolved?

Of course, not. They can't also be wrong about whole bunch of other things they sincerely believe in, can they?

Your views on this subject are totally extreme. I don't believe in arguing with extremists. It makes no sense and delivers no good. So, no, thanks.

Yeah...its only those Muslim Arabs who oppose the Israeli zionist regime. How about Nelson Mandela, Noam Chomsky and former US president Jimmy Carter?
Or the thousands of orthodox jews who protest every year against zionist Israel and call for its peaceful destruction.
Israel has to reap what it has sown, apartheid and violence only beget a wild terrorist resistance.
P.S. someone who is on the Palestinian side of things cannot be labeled anti-Semitic. Arabs are semitic people as well. Semitic meaning someone who descends from the biblical son of Noah called Shem. So cut the crap about everyone who sympathizes with the Palestinians being anti-semitic. They are both semitic people, supporting Palestine doesnt make you anti-semitic it makes you anti-zionist
And to those of you calling it a hatecrime when people label Israel as a theocratic apartheid state - you are completely ignorant of what the words anti-semitism or hate crime mean.

Not to get involved, but Richard Falk is a hardly someone that you should hold up as a bastian of fair and honest investigation of anything Israel.
He's about as anti-semitic as it comes. Its kind of a running joke that the UN appointed him and his wife to the positions that they held.
He was tossed from the UN Human Rights Watch in I think 2012
He's a nutbar 9/11 Conspiracy Theorist, made some very offensive statements about the Boston Bombings, is an open supporter of Hamas.
Oh and while he was with the UN he posted a cartoon on his blog depicting Jews as blood thirty dogs.

Give me a break. So hating on Israel and their racist policies makes me an extremist?

Because to me it is two different matters, IMO
Hating Israel, to me, reads as someone that does not believe that Israel has a right to exist in any manner or shape.
Hating Israel's policies, to me, reads as someone that can accept the state of Israel, but is unhappy with how Israel conducts itself.

I'll let you decide then.
How about this? Give me a reason why I should like Israel?

Your response answers my question, sadly.
Take Care.
