Anybody know if you need tickets for Sneak a Peek at Nashville North on thursday, or if its the normal free entry with a long wait in line?

Not sure if I understand the question, but you have to pay $8 for sneak-a-peak to gain access to the park (and Nashville North). Line for Nashville North should be significantly shorter that night - much less traffic at sneak-a-peak.

Was lucky enough to attend the PBR event at Ranchman's last night.
Can't wait for Stampede to start. Hoping for good weather this year. |

I have gone to Sneak a peek almost every year and have never had a ticket. They let people without tickets in after 7 until it fills up.

To Nashville north? That's what someone else said but is this the first year for the invite only ticket?

Liquor laws in Alberta (and all of Canada really) are unnecessarily complicated and restrictive.

As someone who drinks responsibly, why shouldn't I be allowed to have a Bailey's in my coffee at 8am?

I dunno 10 days of 8:00am-2:00am beers seem like a recipe for disaster. A one off for parade day or a gold medal game is one thing, but I'm not sure how a stretch of alcohol fuelled mayhem is gonna work out.
But I'm also in one of those non O&G roles where we actually work through stampede, so it's probably sour grapes on my part.
