This one doesn't make sense! FAN says its 2.9 per. I think he will become the new goat pretty quickly. I really wish him good luck, but that's too much.

Wow, that's up there with Pouliot for worst contract today.

And knowing the Oilers wanted him too, and probably were offering near as much, hurts.

If it's $2.9M per year, that's a huge raise for a guy who was basically making league-minimum last year.

Don't worry about the dollar figures; none of this is going to hamstring us when it counts, a couple three year overpayments get you some solid vets to help on a rebuilding team. THey need SOME incentive to choose us.
