I wonder what Hemsky is looking for? He could be a good replacement for Cammalleri and he actually plays the right side.

The only downsides are that he's frequently injured -- although he missed fewer than 10 games last year (the first time since 2007-08) -- but that could give them a chance to roll some kids through the lineup; and he has accumulated many years of grease, much more than Glencross or Smid had before they got here.

Hemskys a great player I wouldn't mind him on the team for the right dollar amount. However I can already see what would happen.. first day he would come into the Dome as a member of the Flames they would great him in the hallway, have a little chit chat, then as he is walking away Brad would turn around and say "Oh yea Ales, just keep heading that way, its at the end of the TUNNEL."

Then Hemsky starts seeing flash backs of Regehr tunnel of deathing him into the boards, he is reeling, grasping at the walls... then he realizes he is grasping at a Flames symbol.. "OH NO!!!" he thinks.. " WHAT HAVE I DONE>>!!!? I HAVE TO GET OUT OF HERE!" but there is no escape at that point. They find him days later in a puddle of his own feces and urine, saying the same phrase over and over again, "Tunnel of death... tunnel of death..."

I am not sure if the Flames are going to be busy during the Free Agency Frenzy. If they sign free agent, i think they will sign a defenseman and a goalie or maybe a forward but not a big salary guy. As far as Cammalleri is concerned, they might offer them a little more (overpayment), only question is if Cammy would want to play in a rebuilding team. I don't like our chances of Cammy re-signing with the Flames.
Not sure how Treliving feel about the free agency but I know Brian Burke is not into free agency. He even went to Europe one season while with Toronto before July 1st and stayed there for a bit.

If I remember correctly that was to get Gustavsson. I just don't think he's that into free agency unless it's a big splash. I don't think Toronto was targeting anyone that off-season.
