I would be ok with Lindback.
The thing I remember the most about Del Zotto is some people trying to trade Brodie + for him, hehe, it was a while back. He probably isn't Burke/Treliving type of a guy.

I think Tanev could potentially be the #3 defenseman in Calgary if we got him, but that's my opinion. I'd put him and Russell together. Sign another RHD and trade Wideman (retained).

This isn't really a big deal. Established NHLers hardly ever sign their QOs. Unless their demands are outrageous, I'm sure Vancouver will get the deals done.

McBain does appear to be a solid target for the Flames.
I do have it my head though they're targeting one or two players that they can justify tossing out bigger dollars for cap floor purposes.
I suppose Kulemin and Raymond fit that bill. Kulemin at a Hudler type figure and Rymond at an inflated deal over his last one, say 3m a year for two-three years?

I'd really like to see them try to limit deals on bridge guys to two years, but three would be ok if they have to. I really don't care how much of an overpayment the contract is tbh, just absolutely can not give on term, unless this player is seen to be a core piece moving forward.

Was a little worried we may be willing to go too long on term.
I would maybe go to 4 years but 3 years would be preferred. Interesting to see what happens with him on the open market. No interest at the trade deadline and then he got hot.
