All of these perspective buyouts are maddening. I mean what's the point if they're not near the cap? Why not just hold onto these guys are try and find a trading partner mid-season? Do the owners really make that much where they can just throw millions of dollars in the trash every off-season?

They were gonna put him on waivers to buy him out but asked around if anyone would take him. Return won't be much
