A bunch of goalies went in the span of a few picks. Glad we took the best one according to the scouts.

Flames would have also seen McDonald at the Hockey Canada Program of Excellence camp in Calgary a few weeks ago. Flames were apparently at the camp both to find a goalie coach and for some scouting.

Lots of teams went goalie there, have to think Flames knew there guy would be gone.
