I'm over the moon our team picked this guy, considering I thought he'd be gone in the top two.
Now imagine Jankowski turns out the way we hope. The Flames could have the best trio of centers in the NHL!

Very happy with this pick. Seems like a great kid and if he's anything like Killer we will be in very good shape going forward. I would love to see him wear #39 as a tribute to Gilmour playing in Calgary.

So what are the Flames gonna do with McDavid/Eichel next year.... Soon many good centers. No Cammy this year, Bennett likely back to OHL, no way we get better. Teams around us in the standing are improving by adding to their rosters, later stages of rebuild. Glutiny of C's, I'm stoked.

We don't NEED McDavid or Eichel next year anymore after the Bennett pick. If we can get them, fantastic, but it's going to be fun cheering for this team to win again instead of tanking.
Would love to take a Dman with our 1st round pick next year.

Take either of them if we're in the position to.
The Kings have Stoll, Carter, Richards, Kopitar as higher end centers and they've resolved that problem nicely.
Push one to the wing and continue to be awesome.

Looks like he was Klimchuk's roomy: @NHLFlames First round pick Sam Bennett roomed with @morganklimchuk with Team Canada at the Under 18's.
