It looks fair right now... But it will be overpayment on Anaheim's end later on. I would imagine the Nucks use that 24th OA pick to move up to 1st and Florida adds something minor.

Great deal for Vancouver. Bonino probably already is (or will be) a better player than Kesler now. Add in the rest and its a nice deal.

Nope, but that's still on the higher end of the payment scale for what Kesler brings these days imo.
Glad it wasn't some of these outrageous deals that were floating about.

I dont care if Kesler stays in the division at all. He can go be a 45 pt 2nd line C is California all he wants.
And the return to the Canucks isnt huge anyway.
Not an overly concerning deal.

What the #### Murray?
Bonino is 3 years younger and had more points and PPG than Kesler this year, then you add Sbisa and a 1st to get the diver?
Brutal trade for Anaheim IMO.

Canucks fans on HF were penciling in the 10 OA, 24 OA, and Etem.

Does Vancouver package their 2 first rounders for 1st Overall to take Reinhart?

Vancouver will trade 8th overall, Anaheim's 24th overall, and Shinkaruk for #1.

Sbisa is a good player but not top pairing, Bonino secondary guy especially without Getzlaf /Perry.
Not a bad return for Vancouver but a lot less than some of the rumours. I thought the 10 OA would have been there for sure.

I don't know about that - Kelser is only 3 years older than Bonino.
Good return for VAN if that pick turns into something.

Have you watched Bonino play? He looks good when playing on a line with Getzlaf and Perry, but otherwise looked like hot garbage.
This deal looks fair right now, but when Bonino majorly regresses I don't think it's going to look like a great deal at all. Also depends what they do with that 24th OA pick (which on it's own probably won't land much this draft).
