This is the first time I've been around for Toronto Pride. I think I might put on a jersey and head over as well

Whatever happened with the flames involvement in the Calgary parade? Seems a few years ago they were involved, but I guess not anymore?

Or, "why do they have to rub our noses in it?"
Or, "when do the straight people get a parade?"

Damnit, we almost made it. I could have sworn there was another gay related thread where I was about to post how awesome CP has gotten in terms of tolerance and then noticed that T@T had ruined it with his homophobia.

Please, because I don't make a gay parade a national holiday you think I'm homophopic?

No, it was based on your thinly veiled homophobic comment.

Well, you took it that way. Apparently there is zero comedy these days.

Gonna be a recurring theme at this rate, they were also the two Flames players involved in the Harvey's Redemption video. Monahan already being groomed for that captaincy, bit by bit.

Cool, hope they have fun and then focus on getting ready for the season.
Clock is ticking parade boys! Nice to see no fear from hockey players when it comes to that. Wish it wasn't news that way.

Does Toronto's parade get a good turn out? The one in Sydney, Australia is huge - they get 300,000+ out to watch.

I'd imagine with the size of Toronto that it would get a decent turnout. But I'm not really sure. Good on the guys to support it though!

Pride week in Toronto is one of the biggest in the world, typically anywhere from 500k to 1mil+. This year they were awarded North America's first Worldpride, so they expect over 1 million this year.
