I hear one advertised on 660 quite a bit.
I forget the name, but think it might be this place

I've done it, not on anything big, just some ones we did as kids, so not professional. It works really good. Just go to a dermatologist that does it.

I would pass on a place that specializes in "tatoo removal"

Not good answers, I'm afraid. I've had 12 sessions at Remington Laser for a tattoo the size of a toonie. It was around $140 per treatment. Still have the tattoo and it's only 50% faded. They thought it would be gone by nine. I'm just going to live with it until the technology gets better. Apparently green and red are the hardest colours to remove.

Man, it seems like tattoo removal is going to be the boom industry of the next 50 years.

Exactly. I was going to comment that the thread title is an excellent hint on why removal might be needed in this case.

If you no longer like the content but you're ok with tattoos, you're much better off to get it covered up with a new design. Much cheaper than a lot of removal techniques and a good artist can make sure you won't be able to tell its there. IMO.

Oh god no. Every tattoo ever done, in the history of ever, is a religious level, zen like experience of incredibly unique individual expression. Just ask anyone who just got one, they'll tell you.

Sooner than that. There are going to be a lot of 40 something women that realizing that covering their arms and necks in tattoos isn't the greatest of ideas when you are now a grandma working a professional job having to wear long sleeves in the summer to cover them up. I have nothing against properly placed tattoos but some of these young girls are going way overboard.

Not mine! I was motivated purely by aesthetic reasons, and turns out I had some poor taste in my younger days. So now I'm just a guy in his 30's with a really ugly tattoo on the back of my arm.
Keep meaning to get it covered up, but it's about on par with getting the furnace cleaned on things I get excited about scheduling/dealing with.
