That is about all you can expect from the Daily Fail, however. Sun Media is superior in every way.

Everyone's hearing can breathe a sigh of relief: Azarenka is out of Wimbledon. Nice girl, but you have to watch her matches on mute. She falls in three sets to Jovanovski.

I dunno if she still does this, but after hearing Michelle Larcher de Brito play, which sounded like a feature length snuff film, Vika's noise doesn't bug me as much. I sort of compare it to a strange aquatic bird mating call now.
after looking it up, that's also the first I'd heard about the accusations that Nick Bolletieri actually teaches his players to scream. when you think of his other students (Seles, 'Pova), it's not that hard to believe.

Dancevic comes back down to earth, losing in straights, 6-3, 6-3, 6-2. Milos meanwhile "Socks" it to Jack 6-3, 6-4, 6-4.
And where have we seen this movie before? Lukas Rosol takes the first set off Nadal.

Genie might be waiting a bit.... Marathon match as Kyrgios survived three match points to tie Gasquet 6-6 in the fifth set. Once this one's done, Querrey and Tsonga (tied 9-9 in the fifth) have to wrap up their match.

Wow. Kyrgios overcomes a two-set deficit and fends off at least five match points to beat Gasquet! Sets up a third round match between a pair of wild cards for the right to get their asses handed to them by Nadal.

Big collapse for Gasquet is complete as he blows the two set lead. Nadal appears in control in the 4th set but Rosol had a set and a break lead in the second and let it slip away. Milos has to be thinking he can take Nadal out in the quarters, assuming Nadal gets there.

Rosol had the right game plan going in, but eventually got roped into a few too many longer rallies and that's like sharpening Rafa's knife for him. if Milos can set up the date, he'll need to be totally fearless and end rallies in 5 shots or less, for better or worse. it'll be harder though cause the grass is already undergoing its transformation into dirt.
and I keep reading that other guy's name as Nick Kypreos, wondering if he's beating his opponents with blue steel stares and iffy sports analysis.

Genie gets through a tough first set and simply rolls from there to a 7-5, 6-1 victory in just over an hour.
And I didn't realize this but Kyrgios win was historic, saved 9 (!!!) match points and won, first player ever to do that at Wimbledon.

Of note, after Jack Sock loses to Milos, he immediately goes and plays doubles with Pospisil. They are through to the 2nd round.

That chart is kinda weird, Serena and Genie would be meeting in the 4th round (last 16). Genie's road is really tough, if she gets past Petkovic (which is no gimme at all), it's possibly Serena, then Sharapova, then Halep, and then Li Na. So if she wins it all she might have to really earn it.

Well, that potential final just got easier. Li Na crashed out in the third round.

in my ideal world, Genie dictates her ability to win that matchup, whether Serena is on her game or not. may not be reality yet, but I think it won't be far off as their career paths trend in opposite directions.

Milos and Genie are both up first tomorrow on courts 2 and 3 respectively, so 4:30am MST. I imagine TSN and TSN2 will have both matches on simultaneously.

Happy to see Cilic oust Berdych in straight sets to move on to the R16.
