I am surprised by my level of restraint. So far I've spent $10 getting the Bioshock Infinite season pass and some Payday 2 DLC. The only other things I plan on getting are Banner Saga, Antichamber and Enslaved.

I assume that people only want to chip in while their team is winning, in order to qualify for the prizes.

Which is totally stupid. There's over 75 million users on Steam and only 30 people on each team win their 3 games. You probably have a better chance at winning the lottery. I am selling my trading cards to make money to buy games.

Planetary annihilation is fun. Not the most in depth system but it's kind of like super mario galaxy with complete spherical coverage and interplanetary travel (and destruction which is glitchy). Worth buying if you like the total annihilation/supreme commander games. Similar but on a larger scale and more buggy.
