I will point out that neither of those logos or names are derogatory, although I've always found it weird that they are the Boston Celtics (Sell-Ticks) when Celtic is pronounced (Kell-Tick).

I mentioned earlier in this thread that my Uncle in Cork found this logo extremely insulting:

Oh I agree.
That needs to change too.
Washington's football team isn't the only offender. It's the biggest (in terms of exposure) and the natural starting place.
Notre Dame Irish, I think would be ok. But adding Fighting to the name with a stereotype of drunken fighting and topping it off with a leprechaun... Yeah I don't think so. That said, a Notre Dame thread would be appropriate.

Scotland is part of Britain and most people want it to stay that way.
Scotland is trying to separate itself from the island it forms a third of? That sounds hard. Hope they have a whack of TNT. I can't see many people being for that.
Now, some Scots do want to separate from the United Kingdom, but many many fewer actually wish to physically separate themselves from Britain, but both the Scots and English do wish to separate Wales from Britain....physically.
