Default Autograph questions

First of all I am embarrassed to be asking this because I'm 40 years old, but I bought my 9 yr old son a Monahan framed picture from Costco and now he wants it autographed. I have heard that players can have issues with memorabilia due to collectors, ebay etc. Assuming it is possible at all, what would be the best way to go about it and where would I have the best chance if it is possible?

Monahan is pretty easy going so I don't think you will have any issues getting his autograph. Plus, he seems more then happy to sign for people and anytime I've gone to a practice or camp, he's out there signing away so I doubt it will be a problem.

If he's attending Prospect Camp in July, I would suggest trying to get it there. If you go down to ice level they usually have a place by the glass roped off where the guys walk to the dressing room. I was down there a few times last year to watch and got a few autographs from the guys who stopped. They seem to have no issues at the end of practice/drills to stop and sign a few autographs for people waiting or while waiting to do their media interviews afterwards.

We got a lot of season ticket holders here that could probably forward your message along. Flames organization loves spoiling kids.

Is he attending prospect camp in July? I don't think he has to, but it'd be nice if he did anyways to be around other prospects and add to the experience.

How easy is it to get an ex-Flames player to sign my hat? I heard that Jason Wiemer's autograph is worth a lot of money...

Wiemer is a great guy and will sign anything. It's super expensive flying to Siberia to meet him though, better off to pay the price here.

Monahan won't be at prospect camp.
