Anyone know anything about the Vice sponsored show at the Golden Age Club on Saturday?
Sled Island posted something on facebook, which took me to an RSVP page, where I put my name on a guest list(?)
It said you could only get in to the show with a festival bracelet or by RSVP'ing, which I did.
Do I still need to try to grab a ticket, or should I just show up?

@Jupiter_Malus: @rideswood @Hanoten SUPER (TENTATIVE) SECRETS: Neko Case may be rescheduled to tomorrow; Joel Plaskett may play a set at Olympic Plaza.
Edit: But today is light for me and tomorrow is packed. Another option hopefully.

Got back from Plaza. Around 5 pm they found out Neko Case could not connect to Calgary. Plaskett gamely stepped up to do a set, and has another one later tonight. I don't know if Neko can play Saturday.
Tonight was a gong show with all the rain. Refunds will be issued to ticket holders. Event tonight became free.
Every Plaza show I go to is a rainy mess. Why are there no drains in the plaza?
It would make more sense to hold Sled in August or September, because June is too rainy. However, this is the only window the City will give for the festival.

I saw Mike going off last night on twitter and I had to wonder if maybe he'd enjoyed a few wobbly pops before posting some of that crap. Typically you have to take his reviews/postings with a grain of salt, but he crossed the line with Neko last night.

Well I missed this, but I'll be cruising to the Plaza again today (The Shivas were good the first night, nice to see them again in what looks to be a really good lineup) and then comes the tough decisions. Doubt we can do all of OP and get to St. Vincent (which I'm not too bothered by, but my friends want to make it) so trying to see Shannon and the Clams (missed out yesterday, got there too late bit salvaged a good set by Samantha Savage Smith at Wine-Ohs) or to Bamboo where I think Outer Minds could be one of the best closing options for what's been a sweet festival.

I like Mike, but Neko is one of my most favourite singers ever so I hate to see him being a dick to her. At least he apologized somewhat.
@mrbell_23: @NekoCase I will stop Neko. And truly hope you're OK. But heard this was avoidable. And after last year, this fest didn't need this. Be well
