Where are the admins anyways? I can't find a list of people who run this forum.

Dude if you are not a returning poster then let people go on and on. Your response validates theirs posts/thoughts.

UCB, returning poster.

Kinda hard to when I have people following me around in topics and sending me PM's. Hence why I'm interested in finding out who the admin(s) are of these forums. I don't see why this sort of childish harassment is in the slightest bit tolerable (and I can only block people after they've posted/PM'd me). This is the only hockey forum I've seen it happen in, too.

As I tell my kids, you can't control others, you can only control yourself.

If what they are saying is incorrect, leave it be.

Let people get away with it? Perhaps that's why they're doing it in the first place.

Why would someone fight like hell to be a part of some 'pixel message board' when he's been harrassed from the moment he registered and began posting? Any sane person would just decide the board wasn't enjoyable, and being that they've only been a member for 5 days, they'd lose nothing by walking away.

...unless you've been a member for longer than 5 days... then it makes sense sticking around, defending yourself, reporting posters, and putting posters on your ignore list.

Who signs up for a message board, then puts the members on ignore? That makes zero sense.

Does it matter? I am a returning poster, much of this is noise. You choose to make it matter.

As you mention, place on ignore or just ignore.

The choice is yours, or just leave the forum.

You have sound advice, but to the bold I didn't join a forum based on the city I live in just to let a small handful of posters bully me into leaving -- even if I have to block half the forum for being ######ed. Anyways, can you PM me who the admins of this forum are?

The only solace the families can take from all of this is that hopefully he never gets out of prison after his recent robbery charges.

O.J. Simpson's Former Manager Norman Pardo Says O.J. Was Paid $600,000 To Claim He Wrote 'If I Did It'
Quote:
"If I Did It" was originally announced in 2006 and was planned to coincide with a television interivew, but the project was scrapped in November of that year by NewsCorp and its subsidiary ReganBooks amid intense public criticism. In July 2007, the family of Ron Goldman acquired rights to the book and announced they would publish it in an effort to satisfy what Simpson owed them for the 1997 wrongful death suit against him.

Pardo told HuffPost Live that Simpson had no part in writing the book:

I remember when that book was coming out. O.J. called me. He said, 'Here's the deal,' because it was in the news that he was going to do an interview. I said, 'O.J., don't do it, it's stupid.' He said, 'Hey, they offered me $600,000 not to dispute that I [wrote] the book.' He said, 'That's cash.' I said, 'They're going to think you wrote it.' He said, 'So? Everybody thinks I'm a murderer anyway. They're not going to change their mind just because of a book.'

If you have a day, this is a good read and timeline of all the events and when/where the prosecution went wrong. As others have said, the evidence all pointed to him. But the evidence and trial was fumbled so badly by the LAPD and prosecution that it's pretty clear why the jury had to acquit him.

I don't understand how OJ is precieved as guilty by the public. People must remove emotion from their thoughts on a man's guilt or lack thereof; the court system during a year long trial proved that OJ simpson is not guilty... Who are we to say otherwise?

Yeah, and his "If I Did It" book was just because he was broke, and something anyone struggling to prove their innocence to the world would write and have published for a couple bucks, at the expense of the grandparents of their children.

It was probably written by a ghost writer and was considered easy money.
