I really REALLY wanted to, but I figured the moment I did, somehow that would be when the owner actually comes by and I get charged with vandalism.

It actually works better for a rental, because the d-bag won't have the option of leaving the scrape as-is.

Oh is that how rentals work?
It just seemed funny as it was a rental. My bigger beef of having a car get keyed isn't the monetary cost, it's the hideousness of the door panel and the lack of respect of personal property, and that effect would be lost on a rental.

I was about to post the exact same thing. If the damn thing wasn't so fun to drive, I would have taken a match to it and reported it stolen by now because of the rust.

Was either car there when you parked? If so you should always leave yourself some room for when you get out whether that is in front or in behind you.

What GMG is when you stop for a pedestrian to cross the street and he takes his sweet time walking while yaking on the phone thinking that he owns the road! Come on dude, you are a grown-ass man and why can't you hurry up crossing the street so that everyone can get on with their own businesses? Often I want to just step on the gas and run the ####### over!
I always make a point of walking faster when a car stops for me to cross..

Is that pic showing up as gigantic? On my screen, it's not even stretching the width of the forum. Normal sized, about 1'x1'

People in my neighborhood that let their cats outside. My garden is ####ed, and my cats now need to be separated due to re-directed aggression towards one another because this cat hung out on my backyard all afternoon one day.

But then it got fairly decent, with some really good music mixed in with the odd Michael Jackson, or Madonna song. The big thing was there was very little talking and no commercials. The night time programming was great with things like heavy rock on Thursdays, blues hour etc. Weekends sucked because it was mostly just talk radio about aboriginal issues.
In the last couple of weeks I don't know what happened but all of the music sucks ass, like bad country and stuff, and they've upped the talking.
I had this station on my alarm clock since I am still living in the 60s and don't have a phone speaker/dock. On Wednesday I woke up to some guy talking about talking to trees, wtf. So now I've had to turn it on a regular station to wake up, and of course it is commercials and idiots talking trying to be funny. I've gotten out of bed enraged the last week or so.

 this GMG's.
 |
Sweet. things are back to your regular program now. Maybe they have to play all aboriginal content for a month or something because of something with the CRTC?????

happy things are back to normal, and this particular gg is no longer gmg's.

I hate how people are ignorant of our freedoms and are willing to hand them over to the government or have the government limit them.
A petition has been circulated last night and I've seen a number of my "friends" on Facebook post it to their walls this morning. The petition ask for the posting/display of "graphic or disturbing" images to be made illegal because it creates a risk to drivers.

I'm all for increasing safety on our roads and reducing distractions but I'm sure most, if not all, of us are aware of whom this wording is trying to attack. Instead of limiting the petition to "graphic or disturbing" content it should reference a blanket ban on advertising and displays along roadways. Why take away the rights of one group and not another?

I'm appalled that a small group of individuals who become offended by various displays think that it is acceptable to try to limit the freedoms of others.

I'm not a supporter of any specific group that attempts to portray their message using "graphic or disturbing" images but I am a supporter of our rights and freedoms, of limited government interference and of the notion of "live and let live."

The first study of this chapter noted a gender difference in that female drivers appeared to be more distracted when conversing on a mobile phone than did the male drivers; and that the male drivers appeared to be more distracted when conversing with a passenger. The second study examined the question of why a gender difference might exist for mobile phone conversations and varied the content of the conversation so that it was either cognitive or emotive in nature. This manipulation not only confirmed the previous finding that female drivers make more errors than do male drivers but also found that the pattern of responses, in terms of type of errors made, differed for male and female drivers. Overall, both males and females made more errors when the conversation was emotive rather than cognitive in content, especially so for the female drivers. Female drivers were particularly prone to making lateral or lane position errors and there was a tendency for the male drivers to make more errors of a longitudinal or temporal type. These studies are aimed at gaining a better understanding of the apparent gender specificity of some sources of distraction for young drivers, with a view to better targeting safety messages to this at-risk group of drivers.
 http://road.cc/content/news/34776-ma...on-says-survey
A survey has found that male drivers are more than twice as likely than female ones to suffer an accident because they have been distracted at the wheel. The news comes in the wake of a landmark ruling earlier this year by the European Court of Justice, due to be implemented in the UK by the end of next year, that will make it illegal for insurance companies to differentiate between customers due to gender.

Dude, the anti-abortion banners on Deerfoot must be stopped. Its pathetic, disgusting and no one wants to see it. I'm all for this petition if it stops the anti abortion crowd and im not going to be terribly upset if we lose some other advertising along the way. These people can protest without the graphic, disturbing images on their gigantic banners. I do not need that shoved down my throat on my commute.
