I think I'm ultimately leaning on trusting the technology here.

Also; I think it's fair that the goal is not decided based on where the ref is standing or something else like that.

If the technology is off by a few millimeters, it will probably be consistently off those same millimeters for everyone.

FWIW, apparently the goal line technology FIFA is using for the World Cup employs 7 high speed cameras directed at each goal, but no actual sensor technology as I assumed by the graphic.

Goal line technology said it was in, there was no camera angle that was conclusive.
